FROG MAN Posted February 10, 2010 #1 Posted February 10, 2010 Did anyone else get the FREE grand slam breakfast at Denny's this morning? It was announced during the Super Bowl commercials. I was there at 6:00 am. 2 eggs over easy, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. All I had to pay for was the coffee and milk.
Yammer Dan Posted February 10, 2010 #2 Posted February 10, 2010 Where you got a Denny's at up there??
FROG MAN Posted February 10, 2010 Author #4 Posted February 10, 2010 There is one in Clarksburg but I spent the night in Oakland Md.
bongobobny Posted February 10, 2010 #5 Posted February 10, 2010 Great deal but the closest Dennys is about 30 miles from here...
mini-muffin Posted February 10, 2010 #6 Posted February 10, 2010 We don't have a Denny's, think the closest is up in VA. Glad you enjoyed the breakfast Gerald. Margaret

Dano Posted February 10, 2010 #13 Posted February 10, 2010 I didn't get to go, but my son and a few of his buddies stood in line for an hour or so, didn't get seated till 3:30 or so but they still honored the deal. Bet them chickens are tired!
Ponch Posted February 10, 2010 #14 Posted February 10, 2010 We got in at 8:15 and had to wait about 10 minutes. When we left, there were people standing out the door. Probably at least an hour wait.
kenw Posted February 10, 2010 #15 Posted February 10, 2010 Sounds good, but no Denny's around--we're Waffle House country!!
Condor Posted February 10, 2010 #17 Posted February 10, 2010 Saw the ad on the tube. Thought...hey great!! Then I forgot.... Just as well, from the reports it was standing room only at every Denny's in town. I got better things to do...once I remember what they is....
Dave3 Posted February 10, 2010 #18 Posted February 10, 2010 I too saw the commercial, thought it was funny and planned to go. Then I forgot all about it. We too are Waffle House country, 2 within 2 mile of my house. Denny's is 15 miles away near the I-75. I still would have made the trip in the cage, Rained all day.
Yammer Dan Posted February 10, 2010 #19 Posted February 10, 2010 We have I-Hop 50 miles away. Warden beats them all!!!
royalstarjac Posted February 10, 2010 #20 Posted February 10, 2010 Saw another Dennys ad during the Super bowl. Free Grand Slam on your birthday.
