1BigDog Posted February 7, 2010 #1 Posted February 7, 2010 Sure hope you all up north are ok after being hit with this last storm. I heard about those power outages on the news and from my brother up in NYC. Be safe!!
Venturous Randy Posted February 7, 2010 #2 Posted February 7, 2010 We were real lucky here in north east Tennessee. All this moisture moved past us as rain, but just east and north of us it was just a few degrees colder and it turned to snow. RandyA
MidlifeVenture Posted February 7, 2010 #3 Posted February 7, 2010 Only about 4 inches here it was heavy and hard to clear think it was allot worse east .

mini-muffin Posted February 7, 2010 #5 Posted February 7, 2010 I think from Richmond VA up to at least Philly and points in Jersey they had snow measuring by the feet. Glad all we got was the rain. Margaret
KeithR Posted February 7, 2010 #6 Posted February 7, 2010 That same storm headed to my part of the world after it hit the U.S. We didn't get much where I live but 60 miles east of me that got as much as 2-3 ft in diff areas. Glad we missed that one! Raining now..... Keith
Dano Posted February 7, 2010 #7 Posted February 7, 2010 We ended up with about 6-7"s, enuff to make it look pretty for awhile.
KAWoodworth Posted February 7, 2010 #8 Posted February 7, 2010 Hey Ruffy, met you at the meet and eat during Bikeoctober Fest 2009. We got 32 inches of snow here in Herndon Virginia. I shoveled half a day yesterday and all day today and they are calling for more snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. My wife and I are about to sell the house and move to Florida!!!!!
N3FOL Posted February 7, 2010 #9 Posted February 7, 2010 I think we got about 25" to 30" in our area. Spent all day Saturday blowing snow and blowing more snow helping out neighbors. We expect to get another Snow bout Tuesday into Wednesday of this week and that may be another 8" on the ground. Next week, we are looking at the 40's with a long melt down process. Riding may not happen in the next two weeks or so...hey that sounds like March.
Two Tone White Posted February 7, 2010 #10 Posted February 7, 2010 30+ here. Snow sucks. Another foot expected Tuesday. This is deja vu all over again and I feel like I still live in New England. Somebody get me Al Gore's contact #. I Thought we were supposed to be warming up.
