cimack77 Posted February 3, 2010 #1 Posted February 3, 2010 Anyone have a lead on obtaining a rear rotor for 1988 venture?
bongobobny Posted February 3, 2010 #2 Posted February 3, 2010 Gee, there was just one on Ebay yesterday. Are you looking for new or used??
gscbertrand Posted February 3, 2010 #3 Posted February 3, 2010 There was a pair for the front and a rear on e-bay recently that never got a bid so they may show up again. Shoulda, coulda, woulda but had no money to buy as spares.

JimRoberts Posted February 12, 2010 #6 Posted February 12, 2010 I might have a used one. I'll look tomorrow
dynodon Posted February 12, 2010 #8 Posted February 12, 2010 I had a non-Yamaha rotor put on the rear of my bike a year ago, it squeals. Not bad enough to make me change it yet. But I will go with THIS rotor next time. I did a lot of searching and it is cheaper than the Yamaha one (if you can still get it) and looks like it won't make noise: http://www.perfectbrakes.com/products.asp?cat=8079

No squeels. It was on there when I bought the bike. I don't know what the PO used, but did you use any anti-squeel goop between the pistons and the pads??
