new (to me) VR

bought an 86 back before thanksgiving as a project/parts bike. paid $400 for it. had been sitting in a carport for 10+ years. after stripping it down pretty well and lubing everything i could find, replacing all fluids and checking out as much as i could on the way, she's finally back together (mostly). maiden voyage was yesterday, a short spin down the highway, and its runnin GREAT! I replaced a few parts but for the most part every thing was in good shape so ive got less than $600 bucks into it...YEEHAW!!!

 

even better is that i now have something to compare my 87 to. its been having problems that i cant track down, but now i know that it definately isnt right. I will be trading parts back and forth till it runs like this new 86.
