Prayers sent from here too. My daughter went through a similar situation 9 months ago with her twin boys being taken by C section. They were 9-10 weeks early and doing pretty well now. Her twins were born at Allegheny General in Pittsburgh, PA Keep the faith.

We welcomed a 6lb 12 ounce 20 " baby boy yesterday at 11:12 am. Conner was taken by emergency C section once Ashley dilated to 10 cm and the babies heart rate started to fall. It was under 2 minutes from the time of the rate drop until the baby was out. Conner will spend the next 7 days in ICU for watching and Ashley is due to be released this coming Sunday if the doctors can get her blood pressure to stabilize. She is not happy since she has not yet seen the baby and knowing the baby must stay in ICU after she is released from the hospital. . Her husband, Coby, saw the baby for the first time this morning and may be allowed to feed him later this evening. Even with all the complications the doctors feel everything looks positive. It has been a hard 3 days for Ashley and Coby and the rest of the family and many friends.

Thanks again for all the prayers and positive thoughts during this frightening time.

Regards Dave and Denise and the new parents Coby and Ashley

Glad it all turned out ok and congrat's on the newest edition. It'll be hard on your daughter if she actually leaves before the baby does. Just remind her that he's gonna be fine and be home soon.

Oh and stay safe during this nasty storm on the way. She may end up stuck at the hospital a while anyway if the storm is as bad as they say it's gonna be.

Let the spoiling begin!!!:innocent-emoticon:

We were faced with a somewhat similar situation, when my 4+lb grandson was born, early, by C-section, in September. He is now well over 14 lbs and since Granny gets to keep him while our daughter works we are trying our best to be sure he is completely spoiled properly!!!
