E-Fishin-C Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) My neighbour across the street had to put away his Bernese Mountain Dog (cancer)..Every Morning Jasper would be sitting there waiting for his morning threat from me:crying::crying: He sure is going to be missed by me Edited February 2, 2010 by E-Fishin-C
utadventure Posted February 2, 2010 #2 Posted February 2, 2010 We had to put down our beagle of 15 years recently and it was hard. I often find myself looking at his kennel, expecting him to look back. How much they become a part of us and our families, enough that we know we have to let go. Dave
mini-muffin Posted February 2, 2010 #3 Posted February 2, 2010 That's so sad, at least the poor baby isn't suffering. Always hard to lose them no matter how it happens. Margaret
saddlebum Posted February 2, 2010 #4 Posted February 2, 2010 That is sad. That is the worst part about some real nice breeds, they have a short life span:95:
sarges46 Posted February 2, 2010 #5 Posted February 2, 2010 Sorry to hear that Charlie. You need to encourage your neighbor to get himself a new dog so you can spoil it!
Crash Posted February 3, 2010 #6 Posted February 3, 2010 Charlie, so sorry to he that. I had a Bernese years ago and he also had cancer. They are such great dogs.
