See them here: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=98408 Not sure where I will put them but the price was right. Rod
Bert Buckley Posted February 1, 2010 #2 Posted February 1, 2010 That is a great price could let me know how theyare mounted. I am not very wise on how they get connected, if you can share you techniques it would be very helpfull. Thank you. Bert:fireman:City of Toronto Fire and Emergecy Services.
rod Posted February 1, 2010 Author #3 Posted February 1, 2010 They come with some clips. I would use some clear RTV glue or 2 sided molding tape when I figure out where I want them. BTW they are 9" not 6" as the title said my bad Rod
Billet Posted February 1, 2010 #4 Posted February 1, 2010 I kind of like them on the dashboard like they show:doh:
BEER30 Posted February 2, 2010 #5 Posted February 2, 2010 I have them on my scoot . Have 3 strips running under the gas tank to under the saddle shining downwards . 1 strip tucked under the back of the saddle . 1 strip under the trunk on side . 1 strip on the rear , under the trunk . 1 strip under the saddle bags . And 1 strip mounted on the side of my running boards , motor side shining upwards .The gas tank shields the glare , so it does not shine into my eyes . They also add good elimination upwards to reflect off the motor . Lighting located on both sides of the scoot as described . BEER30

Rod I took some LEDs and mouted them behind the licence plate. Remember the guy that cut the frames out of SS and had the words "Life Is Adventure" ? well I got one big one and one MC size. Someone on here said wouldn't it be nice to have a light behind that, I took a length of LEDS and shoved then into a clear plactic tube and sealed the ends with silicone and put that up behind the licence frame and lite it up. I like it and it is red so now I have to hard wire it in place for the long term. One of the project I am working on this winter. Bubber
