Cougar Posted January 31, 2010 #1 Posted January 31, 2010 I guess there is quite a few cassette players on the shelf now. I always thought that logo on the cassette player was kind of cool, After removing it and adding gauges I took the logo off and put it here. My new star license plate holder add 3M backing tape and your good to go! Now to put the cassette player in the tackle box for a line weight for the fishing poll.
Squidley Posted January 31, 2010 #2 Posted January 31, 2010 Looks good there, I know Ponch installed his on the Wagner grill he has on his '04 and it looks real good there too
Cougar Posted January 31, 2010 Author #3 Posted January 31, 2010 Thanks Squid! OK , everybody show a picture were your putting them. The logos seem that they match your bike color as well. There all differant? (the color in the star section) I would like to find more of them. in my color and I would buy them. Bvinson Posted January 31, 2010 #6 Posted January 31, 2010 (edited) I put mine on my homemade grill about 10 years ago and its still there. I used a little epoxy and never would have thought it would have stayed on so long. One pic in my gallery. You can see in the photo in front of the gate. Edited January 31, 2010 by Bvinson
REDRIDER52 Posted January 31, 2010 #8 Posted January 31, 2010 I think it would look good on the trunk lid by lock on a trike too bad I don,t have one to try it out
Cougar Posted January 31, 2010 Author #9 Posted January 31, 2010 RED, that is were I wanted to put it, And my wife said NO WAY! Sheesh glad I asked her. she says it is to small for that spot. I would never here the end of it. She also made me remove the Hannigan Decal off the back as well. Seems to look better with out it. but I would never tell her that.

StarRider07 Posted February 5, 2010 #14 Posted February 5, 2010 Way to go SilvrT ! Looks Great! now what ya gunna do with that player? We need to start another thread about that ! How to destroy them maybe? I think we should get a collection point, gather 1000's of them and then dump them right in front of the main enterance of Yamaha doors.

slick97spirit Posted August 7, 2010 #20 Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) Here's where I put mine. Hope this works. First time doing this from the iPhone. 1 Canuck Posted August 7, 2010 #21 Posted August 7, 2010 I think we should get a collection point, gather 1000's of them and then dump them right in front of the main enterance of Yamaha doors. Not a good idea! Yamaha will just recycle them by continuing to use them in their newer models.
heartofdixie Posted August 7, 2010 #22 Posted August 7, 2010 Can you take the emblem off the cassette door without messing up the door? If so, how do you do it?
Cougar Posted August 7, 2010 Author #23 Posted August 7, 2010 Yes you can. use a flat blade of some sort and work it off of the door, careful in not scratching the door. better if it is warm. like on a hot day , I have also use a low heat gun to warm the part up. the emblem is put on with gray 3M double sided tape.
eusa1 Posted August 8, 2010 #25 Posted August 8, 2010 fishing line or dental floss works great!! and wont scratch the paint! then remove the tape with goo gone or tar and bug remover or wd40
