Condor Posted January 31, 2010 #1 Posted January 31, 2010 OK, for lack of a better name that's all I could think of to call it. When I visit VR.org I pick up this website in the browsing history http://img121.imagehacks.info/img121/10 It doesn't take me anywhere when I try to go to it, can't get any properties info on it, and it only shows up when I visit VR.org. I'm a little concerned because of the 'hacks'. Anyone know what's going on?? Could we have some sort of crawler working the site?? I see it when I want to go back several pages and use the hot list to the right of the forward/back arrows.

The "imiagehacks' was also part of SilverT's problem See thread below & look at picture he posted in first post in thread. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=44831 Gary
CrazyHorse Posted January 31, 2010 #3 Posted January 31, 2010 I believe this has something to do with it. Maybe Freebird knows more. Something to do with pictures http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49538
Freebird Posted January 31, 2010 #4 Posted January 31, 2010 No, I do not have that modification installed here. I'll try to figure it out though.

You may or may not have these but the problem seems to have stopped.
Venturous Randy Posted January 31, 2010 #6 Posted January 31, 2010 One oddity that has popped up for me is only on VR.org do I have to click the back arrow twice to get it to do anything. Anywhere else and one click does it. Not a big deal at all, but was curious as to why here. And, I am getting used to clicking twice and not just sitting here and waiting for it to do something, duh. RandyA Doesn't do that for me... one click is all.
Freebird Posted January 31, 2010 #8 Posted January 31, 2010 I think the "Imagehacks" is part of the modification that resizes the linked images that some folks add to their posts. It prevents them from making the width so wide that you have to scroll across to read messages. I've removed it for now to see if that is indeed it. If so, I think it is OK and not causing any harm. I may put it back if I don't find anything negative about it.
Condor Posted January 31, 2010 Author #9 Posted January 31, 2010 Doesn't do that for me... one click is all. Yeah, because of where I find it it's two click for me as well....
Bummer Posted January 31, 2010 #10 Posted January 31, 2010 Check this out. Google moved the s from the end to the middle and got that.
Monty Posted January 31, 2010 #11 Posted January 31, 2010 SilvrT, Nwiz is your Nvidia wizard for your video card, and QTTask is for Quicktime. The other two you can do without.

However, if you find that it's harmless and resizes the pic width so we don't need to go 'student body right', I'm all for it.... can't stand those huge posted pics... and can live with the double click..
atlm Posted January 31, 2010 #13 Posted January 31, 2010 That happened to me yesterday, also. Just yesterday, and just on this website. Was fine the day before, and seems fine today. Wasn't a big deal, and I thought it was my computer, but I was curious, also. One oddity that has popped up for me is only on VR.org do I have to click the back arrow twice to get it to do anything. Freebird Posted February 3, 2010 #17 Posted February 3, 2010 I have re-installed the image resizing modification with some changes. It seems to be working and not adding the imagehacks links this time. Let me know if it starts causing any of the problems again.
RandyR Posted February 3, 2010 #18 Posted February 3, 2010 Good, I thought I had a computer virus or something and ran a couple scanner programs trying to find it.
Ciderhelm Posted February 5, 2010 #19 Posted February 5, 2010 Please check your Private Messages, Freebird. I've sent you some information regarding this issue. (Also, amazing smilies on this site)
