Wanting to add some electropods LED lighting to my 07 venture and was wondering if anyone else has them on their bike and how easy is it to hook up. Thanks :Venture:

About like any other electrical device, solder and correct connections required. I have had mine for three years and they still work. Can't say much for their rocker switch though. I am waiting for it to quit.

WOW, This is strange. I was just going to start a thread asking the same thing. I even made an order for some LED's From Oznium.com , but I do not like the workmanship of there product and I am returning it., there were no instructions on the controller , it was a mess. having said that!

I want to know PART NUMBERS/LINKS and what product has been used and has

been used for this application as well and that is good Quality.

I have been to superbright , but I am confused on what strip to purchase.

All I nee to is Strips 9 to 10 inches long for under my gas tank , one on each side.

I already have seen what the Million Colors look like and I am not impressed

Now down to the (what color over the chrome) RED or BLUE? :scratchchin:

How did you attach the product? (goop?) Velcro? etc.

did you get water-proof?

I can figure out the switch and wire part.

Thanks For Any Help as well.

R and P carriage has surface mount led light that may be cheaper, brighter and better.

I would suggest amber for the the color, as some states and cities have funny laws about using blue or red. In Ark, red can only be displayed at the rear of a vehicle and blue is against the law all together. Oh, and no flashing.

This is a small company that tries to buy American Made when ever they can. They are good people. My last order was on a Monday and showed up on my steps on a Thursday. They also have the 15 inch slim lights that everyone uses under the trunk. If you have question you call or email the owner, Paul, and he will answer them.

And yet another great tip.. Thanks! I will look into them as well.

These are REALLY BRIGHT for the chrome? So you have them

mounted on under your tank?

Check these guys out for lighting. I used them a few times and they have great customer service.

I installed the white ElectroPods on my bike last spring. Biggest thing was routing the wires so they are hidden. I also used snap connectors available from chrome glow too. These have 2 to 4 levers that can be snapped to lock the wire in place and raised to remove the wire(s). I also ordered the windshield lighting kit from them but since im using a Clearview shield the light housing would not fit so I ended double sided taping it under the driving light bracket so it lights up the top of the front fender. :smile5:

LEDs make your bike look "cute"... if that's the image you're going after... I took them off my bikes after a few years..

However, these are the easiest things in the world to hook up to your bike.. switch, fuze and wires.. tuck all the wires away.. if you suck at soldering like I do, then buy a bunch of posilok connectors..

Check your local laws as SOME places won't let you use red or blue on a moving vehicle for fear people might confuse you for a larger emergency vehicle..

fun eh?

I recently put these on my bike

They look awsome. It is a million color system and has 13 different modes of operation. you can have them cycle thru all the colors or just pick the one you like best. The music mode will actually pick up the bass and flash with the music. And it all can be controlled with a remote control. They were also great people to deal with when I had questions.

Well I'm not sure if your asking about the Electropod accent lights or the Electropod flashing brake lights. I have both. Electropods accent lights look great. Not quite as bright as some other brands but they are less expensive and are plenty bright for me at night. The purple which is actually a ultra vilate light is not very bright but the other colors are fine for me. The Electropod flashing brake lights I have also and have not had any problems with them but I have two buddies that both are having trouble with theirs.

Very Kewl!:happy65:Mine are on the way from custom dynamics. I am just going with white

under the tank to make the chrome shinny at night. gunna see how that looks then go from there.

I already have the wiring done to have a Quick Release system for when I remove the tank from time to time.

The on/off switch will go on my top cover that goes over the key hole, on the other side of the garage

door opener button. I now can detach the wires from that part as well. detach in two places

Don't have RSV, but have installed LEDs on 2 VStars. Mine has 147 Purple LEDs and 3 red ones. I made my own harness so that if I have to pull off a part; (front fender, tank, neck covers, side covers and so on), I just unplug the harness to that part. 150 on them are on a remote, which is sweet, 2 red ones in the hypercharger are on a rocker switch. Of course this doesn't include the Streamline cover on the HC that gives off it's own show. As far as where I got-em? Since I went with Purple to match the paint, it was a hit and miss off of ebay. They would be listed as purple, but where more blue and it took along time to find what I wanted. I have 5 pods, 4 pods, 3pods and singles, depending where there at. You might want to check with your local DOT to find what color you can run at night, some states outlaw certain colors.

Which "stage" did you buy, and where did you mount everything?

WOW, I am very impressed with the turn signal brightness from Custom Dynamics, it almost binds you looking at it straight on. I hooked them to my 12v source I have in my den to test them. should have them installed soon! I also have two 9.5 inch Stingers with 24 LED's and there very well made. I also am impressed with there customer support! 10 stars for them. :happy65:
