I remember back during the cold war (yep, I am that old) we were informed, by the Russians, that they invented the telephone, electric light, airplane, penicillin, etc etc.

From reading this site it looks like they moved into the cold. OK so east of Vancouver doesn't count. 50F here yesterday. I know that isn't reall:snow2:y warm but at least it aint snow.
