GlennTuc Posted January 27, 2010 #2 Posted January 27, 2010 I agree. Spent some time at CFB Coldlake (Maple Flag) and Edmonton (Cold weather Cruise Missle Test). Loved every second of it. But you all can keep all that cold weather up there. Ready For Summer:fishin: Glenn

SilvrT Posted January 27, 2010 #5 Posted January 27, 2010 Cold weather??? where??? The last time we had below freezing temps was in November. Been hitting 6 - 12 above celcius every day since. If the scoot wasn't apart for maintenance, I'd be out riding.
vic venture Posted January 27, 2010 Author #6 Posted January 27, 2010 Ice storms and 5 inches of snow predicted for middle tn this weekend.

Skid Posted January 28, 2010 #9 Posted January 28, 2010 close the Freezer door!!!! I know what you meant by that....
friesman Posted January 28, 2010 #10 Posted January 28, 2010 I think we are just being neighbourly and sending the crappy weather back to you all. We had a nasty blizzard last weekend in Western Canada and it came up from Colorado across Montana with 50 mph winds and up to 30 inches of snow. We have 7 foot high drifts in a few places and the trans canada hiway and most other highways were closed for a day and a half. So, i really dont feel too badly about sharing with our friendly neighbours to the south, they should put the blame on those guys in Colorado, not us Canadians this time, lol! Brian
Ottawa Posted January 28, 2010 #11 Posted January 28, 2010 With all the hot air coming from the politicians:179: here in Ottawa you would think it be a tropical season all year long!!!
BradT Posted January 28, 2010 #12 Posted January 28, 2010 close the #$##^***&^** door!!!! Must be closed already warm here, at least for the end of January Brad

DarkMeister Posted January 28, 2010 #14 Posted January 28, 2010 I just wait for the Ground-dog day. There is a dog outside, leg lifted, frozen to a fire hydrant. Once he falls to the ground, it's riding time again. BTW Vic Venture: "Drink Canada Dry" is NOT a suggestion. It's an ad for a soft-drink product. I've heard of people who've mis-read it, and are still trying to drink this country dry.

I'm glad you cleared that up for me. I thought it was a dare:crackup:
OldBear Posted January 30, 2010 #16 Posted January 30, 2010 As I sit here tonight and watch the snow pile up outside and look at a projected low tomorrow of 7F, I can only be greatful to the wonderful folks who invented global warming....
johnny-canuck Posted February 1, 2010 #17 Posted February 1, 2010 Hey Vic, Here in New Brunswick we blame the weather on Maine and Maine blames us But really I think it is Quebec's fault We are heading to Nashville in July so hopefully it will be warm (and dry) by then.
Renne Posted February 1, 2010 #18 Posted February 1, 2010 A guy told me the other day of an aunt who lived on the Montana/Canadian border. There had been an ongoing dispute between the US and Canada about in which country the the property was actually located. Both countries claimed rights but after many years of negotiation it was decided that it was to be in the United States. "Thank God" said his aunt. "I won't have to endure another Canadian winter ". Renne............
