oldgoat Posted January 27, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2010 dont know if this helps but i put a 86 on my 84 and it fit? but i bought it off ebay and whos to say the guy didnt lie to me and send me another 84? i also was wondering if a false tank off a 86 would fit my 84? so maybe someone will pop in and let us both know? warthogcrewchief Posted January 27, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 27, 2010 I was looking for a seat a while back for my tattered seat on my '89. I found people saying the 1200 would fit just fine. The only issue was that the vinyl had different patterns from the MK1 to the MK2. If you need a passenger backrest pad to match your MK2 seat, let me know... Condor Posted January 27, 2010 Share #7 Posted January 27, 2010 The MKII seat will fit...snugly. The MKII passenger seat is wider. A MKI will fit any year. The back rests are designed for either the MKI or MKII. The Venture Line Rest looks the same but the brackets are different. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
