Rattlesnake Posted October 3, 2007 #1 Posted October 3, 2007 After seeing what some other people on here are paying for the same bike I put a hold on this one till I shop around some more. Some got a drive out cheaper than this one list for which is 17,399 drive out just over 20,000.There has got to be a better deal out there close to me. Ron
hipshot Posted October 3, 2007 #2 Posted October 3, 2007 sounds to me like yamaha, is playing the old "supply and demand", game! since we don't have a "non-riding" season, i guess they figure that they can "jack you up" anytime of the year! there don't seem to be too many dealers, with a large inventory of '07's ,anywhere in the states! now , maybe you'll get smart, and get a first gen! lol just jt
firewalker Posted October 3, 2007 #3 Posted October 3, 2007 where abouts are you in TX, I know of a dealer with 2 I think, I know for sure a midnight on the floor, maybe willing to work with you depending on who you talk to. Let me know. mark

Ron We have no off season here in Florida either, and I got mine for 17,800 out the door,, 16,300 plus tax and title & license, no dealer prep or destination charges.. If you can't find it cheaper there it might be worth driving to Mississippi (depending on how far you are from them) to Lake Hill motors.. http://www.lakehillmotors.com they have them for $15,000 out the door, you pay tax and license when you get it home.
KingSizer Posted October 3, 2007 #5 Posted October 3, 2007 The local Yamaha dealer here in New Castle, PA had 3, all two-tone black/blue. Why they would have three identical 07 ventures at the same store makes no sense to me. I'm not sure what the price was, but I could stop and check if anyone is curious.
Midrsv Posted October 3, 2007 #6 Posted October 3, 2007 I'm picking mine up on the 15th for $14,884 out the door. DT
Guest tone100 Posted October 3, 2007 #7 Posted October 3, 2007 Check out Randell Noe Yamaha in Rockwall, TX. They have the Ventures for $14,500.

Ron Ron check E-Bay, your bound to find something there or check out the Trader mags or on line at http://www.cycletrader.com/adsearch.html. Good luck, you'll find one.
Kregerdoodle Posted October 4, 2007 #9 Posted October 4, 2007 Check out the Yama dealer in Brenham,tx. They have a 07 Midnight on the floor, not sure of the price though.... Good luck, I picked mine up with 2700miles on her for 8600.00........
GeorgeS Posted October 5, 2007 #10 Posted October 5, 2007 Fly somplace where they are cheaper, buy it and drive it home. You can fly one way to almost anyplace now for about $250 .
cowpuc Posted October 5, 2007 #11 Posted October 5, 2007 West Michigan Creditors has a repo 2005 Midnight with tons of options starting at 10500. The scoot has either 5700 or 7500 on it. RUNS PERFECT but needs a battery badly,, Hideaway on dash CD, cruise, rear speaks, air ride, tons of crhome.. Nice bike that seems to run well.. 5k bike should be worth 10..
