MidlifeVenture Posted January 26, 2010 #1 Posted January 26, 2010 Our cat has pasted and the emotions in the house are settling. Now the we need a kitty has started, not only that, they feel we need two so the older cat can't pick on them as bad man I'm feeling ganged up on.
barend Posted January 26, 2010 #2 Posted January 26, 2010 Oh shush!! Last time we lost a cat (mine the other three are Brenda's) we came home with three!! No sympathy from me!!

I said to my wife and daughter lets wait before getting another one. I went to work and when I came home there were 2 kittens in the house. they said that we couldn't get just one:doh: I guess I lost that battle
Venturous Randy Posted January 26, 2010 #6 Posted January 26, 2010 At the moment I have four, two male, two female, all fixed. My future ex may be able to take one when she gets her appartment, so you can have all you want. RandyA
eazyduzzit Posted January 26, 2010 #7 Posted January 26, 2010 When my daughter was about 12 or 13, she brought a kitten home. She said it followed her, and could we please keep it. Well, if you'd seen her face, you couldn't turn her down either. Fast forward to now. She's 23 and married and I have an 11 year old cat. He's a good guy though and tolerates me as long as I keep him fed and happy. We never did name him, we just call him "Kitty".
Eck Posted January 26, 2010 #8 Posted January 26, 2010 Sorry for your loss, but I swear I didn't kill it ........... I did post last week that I was fixin to kill a cat for getting on my clean bike, but I was only joking. I don't like cats, never have and never will, but I have never hurt one in 57 years either... Good luck with the family decision.....
M61A1MECH Posted January 26, 2010 #9 Posted January 26, 2010 potato chips, you can't have just one. We have 3 right now and looking for another Cornish Rex to rescue so we will have two pairs, 2 Devon Rex and 2 Cornish Rex. Sorry to hear about your loss, they become part of the family to a lot of us.
