emtdouggood Posted January 23, 2010 #1 Posted January 23, 2010 Went for a 10 mile ride today. Was nice to get out and do a little, not much but some riding. Found out I need some fork oil. Or get some progressive springs when i can afford it. Hope everyone else got out for a few miles.
beyeker Posted January 23, 2010 #2 Posted January 23, 2010 It's 34 and raining here in north central Wi. Maybe it will clean the ice and salt of the roads and I can get in a short ride one of these days. Only going to be 20 next week.

Bummer Posted January 24, 2010 #4 Posted January 24, 2010 How were your front forks set on the CLASS? I'm wondering about the compressor, seals, and the anti dive mechanism. (I'm assuming that the '83 has the same front fork setup as the '85.)
OutlawRider Posted January 24, 2010 #5 Posted January 24, 2010 If the weather holds off, I plan on sneeking out for a ride before I pull off the seats and send them in for the rick butler mod. This afternoon. Just have to sneek it out for awhile before I disable her.

(I'm assuming that the '83 has the same front fork setup as the '85.) By looking at the forks it has some leaks from the seals. By reading some threads on here it sounds like progressive is the way to go.
