Just wanted to drop a note about Karl, I went to visit yesterday and he was able to sit up, talk, eat and the surgery went well however he still has a few issues to deal with. His white cell count is down and his sugar is up and to top it off the brace that cost $1200 bucks he needs to wear for the next month does not fit. He is in good spirits and is quite amused with his happy button. Please keep him in your prayers as he still has an uphill battle.

Glad the surgery went well. I hope these other 'issues' that came up are able to be dealt with in a reasonably quick fashion and that his road to recovery is as smooth as possible.

 

My thoughts and prayers are still with him, his family and friends.

oh wow, i haven't been checking this site much as of late.. i didn't realize that anyone was down, much less someone from michigan! thanks for the update, now to go find the origional thread..

Glad the surgery went well. With the brace not fitting seems to be just his luck. Hope they get that fixed for him soon. Tell him we're all thinking and praying for him to recover.
