Ottawa Posted January 22, 2010 #1 Posted January 22, 2010 At last some photos. I have started to prep the original paint for a fresh glass coat. I need to do something about radio No cover! Breaks are great. Just needs a polish. Man, I just love the seat!!!
Snaggletooth Posted January 22, 2010 #3 Posted January 22, 2010 Lookin' pretty good! Keep an eye on eBay. There have been several covers listed lately to fit over the radio hole. A set of pockets just sold today for a bit of cash. It was about $66.00 when I quit looking. Mike

dingy Posted January 23, 2010 #7 Posted January 23, 2010 I need to do something about radio No cover! On ebay search for 'Marine Radio Cover' They go for about $20.00 Gary
MidlifeVenture Posted January 23, 2010 #8 Posted January 23, 2010 On my Gold Wing they used a vinyl flap and some snaps to cover the radio could be an inexpensive fix
Ottawa Posted January 23, 2010 Author #9 Posted January 23, 2010 On my Gold Wing they used a vinyl flap and some snaps to cover the radio could be an inexpensive fix Good idea, nice fix until a cover comes up.. On my old 83 I had to recover the whole deck with vinyl because of weathering and cracks I will keep my eye open on E-Bay. I hope to keep it as original as possible with the exception of a few mods where needed. Thanks again!
MidlifeVenture Posted January 23, 2010 #10 Posted January 23, 2010 Another thought for your temp fix use stick on velcro to attach the vinyl so there is no damage to the area so if you find original a little goo gone and your ready to go
