The group over at Ventures somehow got the new old stock from Roberts company after he passed. I contacted his son and wife a couple of years ago and was told that the patents for several of his accessories had been sold to a third party.

I hate to say but that is a good price. When I purchased mine 10 years ago it was almost double that. But I really had to have it:thumbsup2:

patents huh. So probably not a good idea to try and copy it or at least don't get caught at it.

I'm pretty sure you can copy any patent you want if it's for your own use. The real problem is when you try to sell or make money off that patent w/o proper authorization.

I bought the gauge set from Ponch and it should be here

today or tomorrow. Then hopefully I can get the gauge pod for the

tank and I will be in heaven.LOL

This is a very easy install. The biggest deal is pulling the tank off and installing the sending unit that comes with the kit. From start to finish was about an hour. Fit and finish is great. The only issue is that the handle bars bump it on full lock turn to the left and right. Go to my gallery and take a look. If you want I can send better pic tonight when I get home.

Cougar and Bvinson I did not order one from Ken, he was asking 270 plus shipping

and thats not a problem.

But I do not know him and he will not use paypal.

To ship someone I don't know $300.00 without a way to protect myself or him

just is not in our best interest.

I hope you all keep looking for me as I will keep looking myself.

I do want one.

 

I just received the kit from Ponch and it will be a great asset to the bike as well.

Ken must have changed and started using paypal. I just ordered one with the voltage / tack setup using paypal. I think he still has one left with tack / temp setup so if you are still interested you might email him again.
