I let a friend talk me, last minute, into going to the International MC Show in DC this weekend when I earlier said I wouldn't. Overall it was ok. Packed like sardines though and very few real deals to be had. I did see a guy talking with a salesman over a 2010 Royal Star Venture. I stuck my nose in and said I had one and loved it big time. We wound up talking for a long time. He was looking at a RSV and the Gold Wing. He liked the fact that the RSV was different looking whereas the GW looks kind of too sterile. He certainly seemed swayed by what I had to say. I should have gone back to ask the Yamaha guy what my cut was.

Something I didn't realize until the show was that Black was the only color option for the 2010 models.

Only Black with flame stickers in the USA.

Canada also has a two tone blue for 2010.

I spent a bit of time talking to a several guys at the Star tent when I went to the MotoGP. All they had was a Seashell/Raven. I didn't get a commission check either.

Didn't get my commission check either when Beau-Kat bought his 1st Gen from local Indiana dealer. Did I mention he lives in SC? Oh well. I know Beau-Kat is enjoying the heck out of it and that's what's important.

If you refer someone over there, they can give you something called a "bird-dog". Ask the salesman where's your bird-dog, and see what he says!

FWIW, it's only like 25-50 bucks.. But, 50 bucks is 50 bucks...:mo money:

Never heard the term 'bird-dog' before, but I'm real familiar with the term 'spiff'...... :backinmyday:
