Help an aussie

HI THERE

I was wondering if anybody could help me locate the black rubber moulds that go on the top and bottom of the chrome strip at the base of the windscreen on an 86 venture.

I have tried all the local dealers here in Adelaide and am told they are no longer available.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated. :fiddle:

Is this the 1 Piece or three Piece Chrome Strip ?

 

 

Not that i have one extra, but it think those might be different.

It's the one peice chrome strip with the venture badge on it

And just remember, any directions you get from "up" here, you may have to reverse "down" there. I don't think our directions are the same.

long time no hear and when you do surface you start throwing insults. Just remember at least the gen 1's are unique, and they don't look like HARLEY'S.

Let me get this right, you need the rubber piece that mounts on the inside of the windshield on the bottom? If that's the case, I may have one. If you need the pieces that go to top and bottom of the chrome piece, I've seen them at http://www.bikebandit.com and at http://www.cheapcycleparts.com

 

bike bandit has the two of them for about $18 USD, and cheap cycle parts has them for about $15 USD.

Nah...you don't owe me a thing. I've been fortunate enough to have two venture sites that have been valuable in my restoration. I'm just passing the info along.
