Homemade no-cost turn signals

A while back I posted looking for some stock turn signals. After a few members gererously offered up some parts I discovered a box of parts to truck/tractor lights that a previous tenant left in the basement. Between all the different parts I was able to make 2 working lights. They are double sided. I liked the look of white lenses in the front, but used amber colored ones on the rear. When they light up they have an amber center with amber rings.

 

Here are some photos showing the led turn signals that came on the bike, a piece of aluminum I made brackets out of and the finished project.

 

I'll have to modify the lower wind deflectors so those aren't installed yet.

Looks really good.. I like to see "personal ingenuity".... come alive.
