ive got an 01 rsv and have coolent seaping from both rear heads. well just under the head from a small rubber plug on both cyclinders . already replaced the radiator cap but still seaps after two days . is the plug like a freeze plug or what ?

It's fairly common for these plugs to leak, especially in the colder temperatures, but it doesn't have to be cold for them to leak a little. The thing to do is tape a washer on the back side of the cylinder covers where those plugs are. Then when you tighten the covers back down, the plugs will get pushed in further. This will hold for a long time. But when they start leaking again after that, it's time for new rubber plugs.

my 99 did this when I had it and I glued a dime on the matching surface on the backside of the false fins. it added a little more pressure to the plugs and never leaked again. just my .40 cents worth.
