Squidley Posted January 12, 2010 #1 Posted January 12, 2010 OK Folks..... It's 2010 now officially for the last 11 days and now it's time to set you creative types to put your thinking cap on and show us what you got with a design that we will pick for the T-shirts for the International rally. We'll use this as the idea thread where you can post up your designs and we will have a 2nd thread with a poll where we will vote on the design the majority like. Keep in mind that this years rally is the 5th anniversary of the original rally held at Potato Creek State Park In Indiana. We'll run this till the end of January and on Febuary 1st we'll put the poll up with the entries we have and pick a winner....so show us what you got!
Skid Posted January 12, 2010 #2 Posted January 12, 2010 Does that mean you need another one of my pics? I got another bike now...

Riderduke Posted January 12, 2010 #5 Posted January 12, 2010 I thought that we were going to be using the back of the Quarter like we did last year. it would be cool to keep them and see how many we can get Just My
Yammer Dan Posted January 12, 2010 #7 Posted January 12, 2010 Does that mean you need another one of my pics? I got another bike now... Or we could use a pic of a Hardley. Looks about the same...
Squidley Posted January 12, 2010 Author #8 Posted January 12, 2010 Or we could use a pic of a Hardley. Looks about the same... We could use a pic of your bike Dan, but all the parts sprawled around might not fit on the surface area we have available to use.....Gotcha Bub! Bummer....Love the Potato Head! The quarter is good too and if folks like the idea of the quarter we will do that
Kregerdoodle Posted January 12, 2010 #9 Posted January 12, 2010 I`m thinking the quarter with a note " 5th annual " or somthing in that nature... We could use a pic of your bike Dan, but all the parts sprawled around might not fit on the surface area we have available to use.....Gotcha Bub! Bummer....Love the Potato Head! The quarter is good too and if folks like the idea of the quarter we will do that
Wanderer Posted January 12, 2010 #11 Posted January 12, 2010 Yeah, maybe use the quarter and with a little creative license change the mint date to 2010. I think that would be kewl.
FreezyRider Posted January 12, 2010 #12 Posted January 12, 2010 The Indiana Quarter. I like Bummer's idea. Maybe around the outside it should say, BACK HOME AGAIN..... For those of you who don't know, that line is from the "State Song" of Indiana, which for years has been sung by Jim Nabors just before the start of the Indy 500. Goes really well with the theme of the quarter, and with the fact that the International is coming back home to its original spot. Have a listen: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ8A7Q-SVHI]YouTube- Straight No Chaser - Back Home Again In Indiana[/ame]
Bummer Posted January 12, 2010 #13 Posted January 12, 2010 A little more creative license than the last...
Squidley Posted January 12, 2010 Author #14 Posted January 12, 2010 I never knew Potato Head was Indy driver!
BradT Posted January 13, 2010 #16 Posted January 13, 2010 Can the car be changed for a RSV. Just don't change it to a first gen Brad
Bummer Posted January 13, 2010 #17 Posted January 13, 2010 Interesting idea, Brad, but then it wouldn't be the Indiana Quarter. (As if the real quarter featured Mr. Potato Head.)
Black Owl Posted January 13, 2010 #18 Posted January 13, 2010 How about this for the folks who made the original get-to-gather but couldn't count....
Bummer Posted January 13, 2010 #19 Posted January 13, 2010 How about this for the folks who made the original get-to-gather but couldn't count....Pocket design? Maybe turn the scissors sideways and add VentureRider.org under them...
Dano Posted January 13, 2010 #20 Posted January 13, 2010 I never knew Potato Head was Indy driver! You haven't seen Milka Dunno drive then, have you?!
Black Owl Posted January 13, 2010 #21 Posted January 13, 2010 Pocket design? Maybe turn the scissors sideways and add VentureRider.org under them... 1, 2,3,12, 13 would be more appropriate.
Yammer Dan Posted January 13, 2010 #22 Posted January 13, 2010 We could use a pic of your bike Dan, but all the parts sprawled around might not fit on the surface area we have available to use.....Gotcha Bub! Bummer....Love the Potato Head! The quarter is good too and if folks like the idea of the quarter we will do that "Ugly" is sitting out there Growling something about 2nd Gens taste like chicken!!. You got those 2nd Gen parts togather yet??
Squidley Posted January 13, 2010 Author #23 Posted January 13, 2010 "Ugly" is sitting out there Growling something about 2nd Gens taste like chicken!!. You sure that that growling isn't it complaining about it's arthritis
Eddie Posted January 13, 2010 #24 Posted January 13, 2010 How about this for the folks who made the original get-to-gather but couldn't count.... I like this idea, this was the main attraction . Owl was a real trooper . This is the kind of things that should be on the shirt. I cant believe its been five years, man time flies. I remember when Mike and I came down there Friday night the bugs were so bad that we had to stop a couple of times to clean or windshields. I hope this time they will let us gather without problems.
Sweetnothing Posted January 13, 2010 #25 Posted January 13, 2010 How about this for the folks who made the original get-to-gather but couldn't count.... The only problem is the keys are not attached to them rather large scissors! :rotf:But I think it is a real good idea!!
