This is from our ride yesterday morning for Breakfast.

My neighbor Gail and I rode out together.

Yes, Ruff, the same young lady that was with me for the M&G in St, auggie last year.

with the wind chill factor, it was 21 degrees.

PS 22 riders showed up for the breakfast ride.

I've ridden in them temps before. Haven't ridden in a while now. Heck the annual meet only had 3 bikes everyone else was in a cage. Way too cold to ride for most of us. Plus them winds we had at the time. On the upside they did said we'd be warming up this week. We'll be hitting them 40's by wed. Who would have thought that would sound warm.

Are you saying 21º wind chill sitting still or at 50mph on the bike?

RandyA

wind chill, standing still. I haven't figured the riding temps yet.

Street in front of my house is nearly cleared; chipped away at making my Appain Way (Roman, from the era of Christ) out of the drive way and onto the main road. Perhaps Wed? High of 48+ here, and our usual CO sunshine which also helps melt. I can see stretches of the grass. I will ride in hi 40's, preferring lower to mid 50's, and just on the county roads next to the foothills of the Rockies.

So, Come to CO and let's go! LOL.

FYI: I have enjoyed the post, ‘What would you do differently in cycle wreck?’ It has been very education and I recommend it to you.

And if you have not posted to my POST, THE OLDEST VENTURE RIDER on 1st and 2nd Gen tech talk, please do so; as well in 2nd gen tech talk I’ve added a post (Dangerous!?) : YOUNGEST TO OLDEST QUEEN SEAT AND UP VR RIDERS. The whole gang has jumped in, so post your two cents worth as well. So far the oldest is 77 and the youngest is 16. And, can you believe it? He rides a 1st gen VR!

Also, come to CO and I will keep up with you at my soon to be 71 with two new knees and on my 86 VR.

It really got cold down here! In the 30's and for south florida..that just isn't right.

We Floriadians do not have the cloths to ride in this type of weather.

It will warm up soon..the cold never last long.

Sorry to hear about the cold weather in S. Florida. I guess the two 80 degree days I got riding a HD rental on the 30-31 of December, used up all the good weather for a while! Guess it is my fault! :sun:

Will be in the 30's and maybe a 40 to two the next few days here in IL, but unless my drive melts I won't try to get the bike out. I have an uphill run to the street, and trying to get out on two wheels isn't fun unless it is free of slick stuff! Now don't you feel better about a little cold weather?:rotf:

Well the whining will stop for a while from the Floridians since they are in the 60's and 70's now. Poor babies not sure how they'll handle those still chilly temps.:crackup::crackup::crackup:Sorry I just had to.
