diver1357 Posted January 10, 2010 #1 Posted January 10, 2010 I got a Zumo for Christmas and am not that impressed with the sound quality from the Mp3 files I uploaded to the Zumo. How is the sound quality from the GXM 30 when listening to XM Radio? Is it in stereo?

I usually listen to the XM radio anyway.
BEER30 Posted January 10, 2010 #3 Posted January 10, 2010 I have no issues in quality of the MP3 or the XM . But some of my songs on the MP3 were not of best quality when I put them on the SD card . But most they do play in stereo . BEER30
donphantasmo Posted January 18, 2010 #4 Posted January 18, 2010 Quality is totally dependent on how the files are compressed. If they are compressed into low quality (low file volume, or megabytes) to allow more songs to be put on an SD, the sound quality will obviously suffer... If you compress them to higher sound quality, you will fit less on the same SD card, but the quality will be noticeably better. Also, it depends on the speakers, too. If you have stock speakers, the quality will not be as good as if you have some nice aftermarket speakers with an amp, crossovers, etc...
