Venturous Randy Posted January 9, 2010 #3 Posted January 9, 2010 Just think - if you try real hard you could write a book and make some real $$$! I'll let you tell the rest about the driveway "adventure". Steve Yep, Thursday evening I just had to get out of the house, even though there was more new snow than I realized. As I went down my driveway, which does have a good slope to it, and it got the best of me and when I came out into the road, I nailed my mailbox and ran the right front end of my Maxima under a barbed wire fence. Then when I tried to back up, the metal post ripped a hole in my oil pan. So, everything is just going peachy, if you know what I mean. RandyA
mini-muffin Posted January 9, 2010 #4 Posted January 9, 2010 Sorry to hear that Randy. Glad it wasn't any worse then that. Margaret

BOO Posted January 10, 2010 #6 Posted January 10, 2010 When you first were telling the story I thought you were on your bike and I'm thinking them southern folk need to realize you can't ride your bike in the snow..... Had me for a minute.... BOO
Venturous Randy Posted January 10, 2010 #7 Posted January 10, 2010 I can bring over a bag of oil dry .... you forgot the puddle in the garage Man I should really learn to keep my mouth shut ! SGN Steve, I went yesterday to Wally World and bought a big bag of Kitty Litter and I got the cheap dusty kind. When oil is on concrete and 15º, it don't just wipe up. I hope the kitty litter does better. RandyA
Uturn Posted January 10, 2010 #8 Posted January 10, 2010 Stand by with a ZIPPO lighter and two straw brooms for controlling the fire. Cleans that concrete floor stain right up. Oh yeah, don't fergit the marshmellers. MIKE aka Uturn
