Just got back from taking a couple hour ride . Started out 30* and now 35* with 15mph winds. It was very pleasant and didn't sweat a drop !

Would enjoy the snow mobiles but if I remember correctly......it is very cold to ride them things!

I actually get way colder on a bike than i do on a sled. I think its because most bikes are designed to deflect heat away from you, where sleds are designed to take the heat from the engine and deflect it to the rider thru the venting. :snow2:

Yep, us Southerners can take a few days of ribbing, we certainly heckle you alot......especially since you'all up north have to deal with it 3/4ths of the year......:smile5::smile5::smile5::smile5::smile5::smile5:

Well, the cold front, hit us this morning, its been raining all day, temps are in the 40's, but by tonight, the rain will stop and temps come back up into the 50's by morning, which is good, cause we have 29 ridiers going out to breakfast, down on Hollywood Beach Sunday.

Did two rides today with my Brazoria County Cavalry group welcoming a couple of servicemen and women home. Had about 15 bikes that made the ride. Not too bad, nice sunny day, just dressed in layers. Worst thing is that I hit a bump, lid came off my cup in my holder and spilled hot chocolate all over the tank with nothing to clean it up with before getting to the first meet. I hate winter, thats why I moved here over 32 yrs ago. Everyone stay warm and safe out there.
