BoomerCPO Posted January 7, 2010 #26 Posted January 7, 2010 that would be a "Yup" Yep....That's what my LEO buddies told me too.....LOL! Boomer.....who knows being Tasered sure as heck gets yer attention....but it don't make ya smarter as I am living proof of dat.
RandyR Posted January 7, 2010 #27 Posted January 7, 2010 When police arrived there, Rieger refused to answer any questions about the incident and told police to leave. A struggle began This is what he was tasered for, and most likely what he'll serve time in the slammer for. Not for politely trying to tell the driver that he almost killed someone on a motorcycle or his gas cap was open... In fact if he had asked for a warrant (and the officers didn't have one) and said he wanted a lawyer present they may have left.... If he asked for a warrant, or a lawyer, and the officers persisted, then he will eventually walk out (usually).
Riderduke Posted January 7, 2010 #28 Posted January 7, 2010 This situations comes up quite often. Even if the Car driver did somthing, when your on a bike, the car driver has the upper hand, ( and his other hand might have a gun it it ) Best, to just go on your way, and be glad you are still alive--- I agree, but sometimes its hard. But I don't think that this was the situation. i think the rider rides with alot of rage. see hilighted post below. GunnyButch Posted January 8, 2010 #29 Posted January 8, 2010 The guy should be thankful the driver didn't shoot him. I can't think of any justification for what he did. Try to get in my truck uninvited and in a rant you'd likely be looking down the business end of a .40cal. If the driver did something stupid some things are just not worth escalating, the trouble he ended up in was his own doing and can't feel sorry for him.

Yep, that's a bad thing trying to get into someone's vehicle nowadays. I do believe this would have ended differently in some other states.
