Gary N. Posted January 4, 2010 #1 Posted January 4, 2010 Does anyone know of a chain store where I could buy a Zumo 550? Living in Canada I'm nervous about buying on line in case of warranty problems etc. Cross border shipping suks too.

They're out of Calgary and are about the cheapest I've found in Canada. Doug

BradT Posted January 5, 2010 #10 Posted January 5, 2010 I thought Best Buy as well. Best Buy and Future Shop only show the Zumo 660 on line, but you may be lucky to find one in a store. Radio World shows they still Carry it, but you are not that close to Toronto. There is a Authorized dealer in Quebec that handles all warranty for Garmin (in Canada) so I do not think you will have a big problem with Factory Warranty. Brad

Tom Posted January 5, 2010 #13 Posted January 5, 2010 Gary,All of the warranty work,(If any) will be handled by garmin UNLESS you get an extended thru whoever and I do not know how well the "Extended warranties" you buy at brick and mortar are. I bought mine online..make sure they are an Authorized Garmin dealer though. Tom
