That's the $64000 question. It all depends on the gear tolerances on your bike and what type of hearing protection and or helmet you wear. ie: full face will be quieter than 3/4 or 1/2 helmet.

Snarley Bill Posted October 2, 2007 #4 Posted October 2, 2007 i got the whine.odds are pretty good.it's not the worst thing that can happen to you.would'nt keep me from buying one.you should hear my new v-star 1300.you want to hear transmission noise it is record breaking.it would'nt keep me from buying another one.i got more things to worry about than a little transmission noise.
