car tire on the rear ?

i know this is a taboo question but here i go. i recently purchased a beautiful rstd 06 , i have been riding my entire life and have kept my honda vtx1800. i researched the whole darkside car tire thing before i tried it on the honda and i have to admit that i like it on a heavy low lean angle adult driven cruiser. the vtx has over 5ooo miles on the car tire on the rear and no issues except excellent wear and grip. my question is has anyone put one on a venture ? pro's or cons ? and please do not preach to me if you havent at least tried it. any intelligent input would be greatly appreciated.
