Speed Traps

I just ran into this website. Don't know how accurate it is, but it might be worth looking at before running up to the Dairy Queen....

Most recent addition for Vancouver was Oct, 2008. I looked thru about 3 pages but I didn't see the one listed where they got me ! .... and they are there at least 50% of the time I go that way.

 

I think they depend on folks reporting the traps when they see them.... Good idea, but it's only as good as folks being active.

one of the guys I ride with has a Facebook page that has about 500 people updating the facebook page when a radar location is spotted.

Using a mobile handheld means you can do that right away, and it seems to work fairly well, if you set it up to send you a notification when a new entry is sent in.

i checkout some of the sites listed and they are pretty good. i drive about everyday in the birmingham, al area and there's a lot of places they set regularly.

Now listen, I would not call ALL of them speed traps! I've patrolled in Antwerp and currently in Hicksville Ohio. The speed limit is clearly posted in both location several times over. It just boils down to paying attention to you driving!!
