Aussie Annie Posted December 28, 2009 #1 Posted December 28, 2009 Where is the best place to purchase the folding flag poles PGR members use when standing the line?? Could someone please post the web site for me thanks
Hummingbird Posted December 28, 2009 #2 Posted December 28, 2009 Annie - I have a telescoping pole. I don't remember where I got it but if you google flag poles you'll come up with a bunch of options. The one I got fits in the saddle bag with lots of room to spare.
Hummingbird Posted December 28, 2009 #3 Posted December 28, 2009 Ok - I found it - http://www.rivcoproducts.com/products/product.php?productid=539&cat=433&page=1

I use the telescoping for standing ONLY and I have a fixed unit that goes in my trailer hitch for highway use - we used it when we escorted the portable wall from Cambridge to Urhicsville last summer. Wish I had a picture

Aussie Annie Posted December 29, 2009 Author #8 Posted December 29, 2009 Thank you to all for posting
Zfrebird4 Posted December 29, 2009 #9 Posted December 29, 2009 Now all I have to do is figure out how to mount a holder on my 86 VR. One here suggested a chrome fishing pole holder. Have to find one to see if I can make that work. Probably a platform weld cut and bolted to the back of the bike, extending backwards with holes in it might be best. Will talk with Squidley on this one. Any other help will be appreciated now on the mounting. JackZ New PGR when the chance comes. :mo money:Oh well, it's only paper!
