New years day ride & eat

I will be riding on Jan. 1, with several hundred people to Ezells Catfish House in CHATOM,Al. about 70 miles each way. Good Eating. Meeting at Wall Mart on hwy 158 at exit 13 at 8:30.

Met Taz at Ezell's Catfish Camp today. Look like his leg is doing better. Had a gread day for a ride. I was going to see how far I could go on a tank of gas. Went 212 miles before I had to go on resurve. Was getting nervous in the middle of nowhere so I stopped at a little gas station and filled up. Took 4.8 Gal. at 230 miles!!!! With at least one more gallon I could have made another 15 miles home. HAPPY NEW YEAR

I DID manage to get out for a short ride today, about 20f this afternoon. Went about 20 miles thru the country, then a short blast back up the freeway (da*n what a mistake!) and then back to the house. It felt great to get out there for a bit. Now mind you, this is without any of that fancy heated gear!
