Little Things for your bike...

What are some of the LITTLE things you have added to your bike that most people might not have thought of...either ornamental or practical?

 

For example, I have the License plate grifter plate:

This little gem locks and can keep your paper work...extra keys, a small flash light, fuses...and best of all, it locks. It is not really stealth...but you do need to know what you are looking for.

 

Anyone else?

Thanks rumboogy, I like the the sucurity box so I just ordered one.

The plastic ones work very well. They do have a rubber gasket around the edge, so they are waterproof (and I can vouch that they DO work..don't ask me how).

 

They are WAAAAAY overrpriced on the chrome plated and brushed aluminum ones...but the plastic one works VERY well.

 

Velcro inside this thing is a wonderful thing...see below.

15" LED light bar on the back, mounted between the helmet locks.

 

~20 bucks or so, and about 5 minutes to install increased rear visibility enormously!

 

Also: Stebel air horn + wiring, ~40-50 bucks

Thanks! ... I've since changed them because installation of the bar risers didn't allow for the "full width" plate so I have one on each side now...

I added the Dynamic clusters to the rear I have to find A picture

 

They worked good I converted the Rear flashers to Brake - running - flashers

man those things are bright

I want to see were this post goes I have all winter to make some changes to the ride.

 

One thing I have noticed about the VR Group is we have some very creative people when it come to ideas for the bike

Ok, I checked out the Grifter license plate storage, and I gotta ask, do ohio and wisconsin have different size tags than the rest of the world?

Good question...I just figured that all motorcycle plates were the same size since motorcycles usually have the bracket about the same size on all models...although I did notice the Venture had an "adjustable" plate holder.

SANTA I WANT CHROME for christmas and i been a good boy this year i promise

I wasn't real fond of the billet pieces that go behind the passenger floorboard so I added a star concho on each side. They take the bare look off those plastic pcs.

These are what I ordered Yes

I did order the equalizer the flashers would not work with out it

but it did not slow the speed of the flasher

I need to replace the flasher at the time they did not have any self canceling so

I can live with it
