need help passing lamp install

i've posted this request in the Watering Hole and considering my request is about RSTD i thought i would post here as well. i have an 07 midnight RSTD and was instalingl passing lamp mount bar part # STR-1D635-40-00 and found that i cannot fit my OEM flasher lamp onto the special bolt which is provided with the mount bar kit. the mount bolt is .020 (20 thousandth) larger in diameter than the flasher lamp mount hole (with rubber sleeve removed). no way it will fit. anyone here with an 07 that has done the passing lamp mod and if so could you provide me with the part numbers you used to do the job....thanks....HELP !!

I will assume that you have loosened the bolt on the pinch ring as much as possible. A set that I installed once I had to pry it open slightly while installing them to get it to slid over for me.

HMMM, wife just got me a pair of passing lights and all went on without a hitch. The blinker lights are a tight fit, but they went on okay.
