midnightrider54 Posted October 1, 2007 #26 Posted October 1, 2007 Hey Yammer Dan Congratulaitons, on the new bike. Enjoy!! Looking forward to riding with you and the gang again!
Marcarl Posted October 1, 2007 #27 Posted October 1, 2007 Back brakes were listed as not working, so you might need some fluid and a way to bleed them. As for the carbs, run it on WD40 until it warms up, often this will loosen some of the thinges necessary for it to work at all, and WD40 will do no harm to the cumbustion chambers, and it will also help lossen up any crud in the system. Use a spray can and spray directly into the carbs.
Condor Posted October 1, 2007 #28 Posted October 1, 2007 Good on ya Dan. You could probably get rid of a lot of the Bling-bling and get half your money back the way chrome sells on Ebay.....
midnightrider54 Posted October 1, 2007 #29 Posted October 1, 2007 Good looking scoot you got there Dan. Will you need any special licences to operate that thing. It's got more gadgets and gizmos than the space shuttle. Enjoy
FROG MAN Posted October 1, 2007 #30 Posted October 1, 2007 Good looking bike. Fit for a King and a Warden.:rotf::rotf:I bet he works on it before he gets it home. Might not be a overnite motel stay Dan would guard bike outside all night.:stirthepot:
Yammer Dan Posted October 2, 2007 #31 Posted October 2, 2007 Can't get it up the steps if it won't run....
86er Posted October 2, 2007 #32 Posted October 2, 2007 I'm really happy for ya, Dan! And don't worry about what Redneck says, he's just jealous! Besides, we won't be able to hear his comments about 1st gens..........as we leave him in the dust!
Yammer Dan Posted October 2, 2007 #33 Posted October 2, 2007 To tow a 1st Gen you have to get in FRONT of it NOT Behind!!!
