scooter45 Posted December 11, 2009 #1 Posted December 11, 2009 In the last month I have been to four motorcycle dealers in Minnesota. Harley Honda Kawasaki Yamaha. Harley was the only dealer to any touring bikes on hand. The Yamaha dealer had new 07's setting there.
massey130 Posted December 11, 2009 #2 Posted December 11, 2009 it's too bad Rumboogy didn't know about the new 07's sitting therer. that's what he was looking for - new old stock. HEyyyyy Rumboogy, you tuned in?

Somebody needs to get that bike...especially if it is a Midnight.
OldBear Posted December 11, 2009 #6 Posted December 11, 2009 2008 on Fle-Bay for 8500?? Minus muffler and a trunk. Makes ya wonder how hard it crashed though, doesn't it:hurts:
Yammer Dan Posted December 11, 2009 #7 Posted December 11, 2009 Makes ya wonder how hard it crashed though, doesn't it:hurts: Got to be something up with it. Looks great. Guy could make some money on it.....

Guest tx2sturgis Posted December 11, 2009 #10 Posted December 11, 2009 Looks like HD is either overproducing or not selling and the others are underproducing. Bad economy. No one is spending right now...winter, christmas time, and no money.
ediddy Posted December 12, 2009 #11 Posted December 12, 2009 This is a bad time for motorcycles and rv's. Motorycles are a toy and the first thing to go when people have money problems and they are the last thing anyone buys. I called on a honda, yamaha, suzuki dealer last week and they said the only thing keeping them open was the service dept. They still have new 08 bikes on the floor so they aren't ordering any current year bikes. A friend of mine that hangs out at the local harley dealer said they sold six new bikes last month. A friend of mine that is the sales mgr at the local honda, yamaha dealership said yamaha is predicting there will be 300 yamaha dealers go out this year. I would hate to be the owner of a motorcycle dealership right now. Maybe we need a cash for cycles program. A trillion here and a trillion there and pretty soon you are talking about a lot of money.
KarlS Posted December 12, 2009 #12 Posted December 12, 2009 Honda East Toledo claims to have 2006-2007-2008-2009 New RSV's in stock. Just have to call on prices. I know they have great prices on 2009's in CycleTrader on line.
