RandyR Posted December 10, 2009 #2 Posted December 10, 2009 she saved the tax payers a LOT of money....
Yammer Dan Posted December 11, 2009 #3 Posted December 11, 2009 Thats the Way it Should Be!!! Sombody needs to tell her about speedloaders!!
Sling Posted December 11, 2009 #4 Posted December 11, 2009 I tried to google the Houston Herald to see the article. There is no Houston Herald in Texas. When you google it it brings up a bunch of sites and they all say it is false. It's too bad though cause it would save the tax payers a lot of money
dynodon Posted December 11, 2009 #5 Posted December 11, 2009 Well, Snopes can't find it. Might be true or just new enough that it hasn't been investigated yet. Wait, theres more...I investigated a little more and several lists/blogs have this and call it a "joke" and nothing more.
gunboat Posted December 11, 2009 #6 Posted December 11, 2009 i live in houston and there is no such newspaper here. wish this was a true story would back her 110%. reguards don c.
Venturous Randy Posted December 11, 2009 #8 Posted December 11, 2009 It was true enough in my mind to make me feel better about the story and that is what matters to me. I am also one of those people that checks Snopes for these things, but ocassionally, I DON"T want to know if it is not true, it is still a good story. RandyA

jburrell Posted December 11, 2009 #13 Posted December 11, 2009 Just think though in Texas no we are allowed to carry guns in our Cars and trucks--concealed--open it dont matter. Under the "Castle law" our car is just like our "Castle" and we are allowed to protect it. This is without a permit. We can also get a permit to carry a concealed weapon (pistol) just by applying and taking a 1 day class. Rules are lax so much so that a blind man got a license. Be careful who you Rob/Attack/piss off in TEXAS as our shoot law no longer states that we must be "in fear of losing our life: before we can shoot. If used to be that you had to first try to run from the situation or be afraid you were going to die. If you shot someone that had broke into your house you had to make sure they stayed in your house. Couldn't let them get out and shoot them. Now all we need is to be afraid that we are in danger. A much broader range to be sure. REMEMBER NOW '" DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS" really means something.
Bigfoot Posted December 11, 2009 #14 Posted December 11, 2009 The Following Monday Morning, The Woman Was Called In Front OfTheArraignment Judge, Sworn In, And AskedTo Explain Her Actions. When I got to this part I knew it was a fake. No one can be called in like this after a possible crime to explain themselves to a judge. Talk about legal issues.
