Venturing Sole Posted December 11, 2009 #26 Posted December 11, 2009 Jeff, I'm glad you got to come home, even if briefly. Wish I could make it, but this weekend is packed with things to do to get ready for Christmas. Hope your early Christmas is wonderful. David
Squidley Posted December 11, 2009 #27 Posted December 11, 2009 Muffin, As much as I would love to come over and bust your chops for old times sake....we wont be able to do it. Have a great time and we'll catch up with you when you make it back for good!
mini-muffin Posted December 11, 2009 #28 Posted December 11, 2009 Might want to ride to the meet in a cage. We have an 80% chance of rain that day. Saturday is gonna be really cold, there calling for 20's with wind chills in the teens. So rain is better then cold of course its going to be warmer by Sunday too. Margaret
Sleeperhawks Mechanic Posted December 12, 2009 #29 Posted December 12, 2009 Just found out that Sleeperhawk has to work Saturday and Sunday so we will not be able to make it. Have fun and be safe if on the bike or in a vehicle! Jeff, Hugs and more Hugs, we will miss not seeing you this trip so hurry back as soon as you can. I owe you that applie pie!:bighug:
mini-muffin Posted December 12, 2009 #30 Posted December 12, 2009 You can owe him the apple pie. Sorry George has to work. Margaret
Sleeperhawks Mechanic Posted December 12, 2009 #31 Posted December 12, 2009 Jeff knows I am good for it! The weatherman is predicting snow for here tomorrow!
mini-muffin Posted December 12, 2009 #32 Posted December 12, 2009 Wow our forecast isn't calling for snow at all. Hope they are wrong. Margaret

Even if it's for a time ":rotfl: Welcome home Jeff. Wish I could join you but I just cant... but have a cold one for me.. Wishing you and Mini a wonderful Christmas. I'm with you on that one, Eck! Although you and I would tip a cold Miller while the Muffin would tip a cold Pepsi!!! Welcome home Jeff!!! Edited December 12, 2009 by 86er
Gray Ghost Posted December 12, 2009 #34 Posted December 12, 2009 Wish we could be there, muffinman. But we will meet up again, and then since you don't do the cold one thing, the DQ is on me.
mm482 Posted December 13, 2009 #35 Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) I will be heading over to Deadwood about 11:00 AM. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. The weather here does not look that bad, but I think I will be on four wheels. Earl:banana: Edited December 13, 2009 by mm482
mini-muffin Posted December 13, 2009 #36 Posted December 13, 2009 We'll be on four as well. The weather looks pretty good here too. Guess the rain is coming later on. We've just had some light stuff. Not sure who else is gonna show. Painter said he'd be on his way so it's looking like just a few of us. Margaret
Yammer Dan Posted December 13, 2009 #37 Posted December 13, 2009 Watched this one all the way thru Mini with hopes I could make it. Not going to happen. Tell Jeff I said Hi!! Too many irons in the fire!!! I thought retirement ment slow down???
Venturous Randy Posted December 13, 2009 #38 Posted December 13, 2009 I seriously considered going that way, but an old Air Force buddy south of Winston Salem that was going to put me up Saturday night had to go out of town to Charlotte to his daughter's at the last minute. And, with the weather rainy and foggy here, I guess it was best I did not make the trip, but I sure wanted to. RandyA
mini-muffin Posted December 13, 2009 #39 Posted December 13, 2009 Well we had Earl, Painterman, & Laura show up for lunch then Poledar showed up after for ice cream. It was a bit rainy on and off and kinda dreary but we didn't notice since we had venture rider family members with us. I'll post the pics a little later. Margaret
