massey130 Posted December 8, 2009 #3 Posted December 8, 2009 get some warm clothes on, get a bucket of hot water & go detail the scooter. spend some quality time shining the chrome. put on the radio with some Christmas music. Thank the good Lord you have a scooter instead of just wishing you had one. Oh, yea, use water proof gloves.

Condor Posted December 8, 2009 Author #8 Posted December 8, 2009 take your dog for a walk.... don't have a dog....
aharbi Posted December 8, 2009 #11 Posted December 8, 2009 Bored - Broke - Dang cold That's when I go over to http://www.advrider.com/ and read the ride reports.
massey130 Posted December 8, 2009 #12 Posted December 8, 2009 you could get a dog. but then you'll need a sitter while you take the scoot for a weekend away. best to just hang out in the shop with your scooter while the radio is playing. don't forget about house training a dog, or the food, or the vet bill, or the accident in the middle of a rug that you find by walking in it. the RSV only lets you down when the tire goes flat.
dingy Posted December 8, 2009 #13 Posted December 8, 2009 the RSV only lets you down when the tire goes flat. Really ?? :rotfl::rotfl:
massey130 Posted December 8, 2009 #14 Posted December 8, 2009 well, i could be wrong as there are a number of things to go wrong to make the scoot stop working and leave you feeling let down. But the actual physical, tactile and empiracle sensaiton of being let down is fairly limited to the deflation of one or both tires. i know this as i am still waiting on my replacement rear tire.
Bubber Posted December 8, 2009 #15 Posted December 8, 2009 don't have a dog.... Then get a dog So that you have one to talk to ! What else? Yes Fido go lay down by your bowl.
Mariner Fan Posted December 8, 2009 #16 Posted December 8, 2009 Then get a dog So you can fill in the holes they dig in the yard. And you can pick up dog poop. And you can fix all the landscaping they tear up. And you can take them for walks. See? No more boredom....
Sylvester Posted December 8, 2009 #17 Posted December 8, 2009 If it wasn't for my dogs, six, I wouldn't have a reason to get up. 5:00 AM take them for their first walk and then feed them. 7:00 AM take them for their dump and hopefully more pee. The rest of the day they love me, up until around 5:00 pm and then they want to chew my leg off. That is when I feed them again...all is right with the world. I would not trade any of them for a new motorcycle. They give me thought, love, attention, quizical looks, and comfort when I feel down. But I only have one motorcycle!!!
Yammer Dan Posted December 9, 2009 #18 Posted December 9, 2009 Hey Dan, If you need a place to stay, I got plenty of room in the garage.....you can bring your bikes with you! She gets done with me I might not be able to make it.
Aussie Annie Posted December 9, 2009 #19 Posted December 9, 2009 Then get a dog So that you have one to talk to ! What else? Yes Fido go lay down by your bowl. And get yourself a "Wooper Scooper" to pick up the "business" end of said dog----boredom solved Oh wait, it's cold. Okay they'll be frozen so use them for hockey pucks see, boredom still solved  Now Me?? going for a ride
Condor Posted December 9, 2009 Author #20 Posted December 9, 2009 So you can fill in the holes they dig in the yard. And you can pick up dog poop. And you can fix all the landscaping they tear up. And you can take them for walks. See? No more boredom.... Then I'd be depressed........
stardbog Posted December 9, 2009 #21 Posted December 9, 2009 Then I'd be depressed........ What are you crying about, by mid day will be mid 40's. For depresiion...well roll something...it's legal in California for "medical use":rotfl: or check out what's new with Cheetah Woods... I mean Tiger.
Bubber Posted December 9, 2009 #22 Posted December 9, 2009 Then I'd be depressed........ Man I hate to see you depressed, so I went out side this morning and scooped up a big box of snow from that snow storm that went through last night. 8" of snow and 45MPH winds at 11 degrees. Anyway I sent it off this morning Special Delivery so get your snow shoes on and have fun! Your friends in Minnesota Bubber
Yammer Dan Posted December 9, 2009 #23 Posted December 9, 2009 I could send you a few very interesting neighbors. Do you live close to a river or lake??
bongobobny Posted December 9, 2009 #24 Posted December 9, 2009 I'm bored with my job, can't afford to retire, and it's cold and windy...
RandyR Posted December 9, 2009 #25 Posted December 9, 2009 A warm sunny day here, but the wind has been blowing like a hurricane all day. I'm surprised a tree hasn't come down in my yard.
