Here are some pics of when I did mine a while back

[ame=http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=488]Installing a KuryAkyn Battery Meter - VentureRider.Org[/ame]

I think I changed my sticky backing with the 3M tape it

has never moved or fallen off. and no drilling.

I was at a local HD dealer and saw they had the Kuryakyn l.e.d. volt meters for about $25. I found them here.

I have one of these installed on my bike. Got it positioned where the power plug area on the lower left side of the fairing is. Works great! :smile5:

I think for that price... I can live without the one from Kuryakyn. :2cents:

I do like the one from Signal Dynamics however. A very simple and uncluttered setup. It's also at a much more reasonable price.

Do the 2nd gens NOT have a voltmeter?

Nope, no volt meter......

I do like the simplicity of the signal dynamics led light. It requires a small hole to be drilled and the light snaps into place. :smile5:
