I put on over 1,000 miles in November(best Nov ever), and rode to work today on December 1st. Have a parade to ride in this Saturday. Then it will be hit and miss for the rest of the winter looking for roads with no snow, but it never gets "put away"

I'm in central Maryland, where real winter doesn't usually start till January. This past Sunday temps reached the upper 60's, and yes, I went riding.

Unfortunately, we've had so much rain lately, not much riding -- it's rain, not cold weather, that keeps our bikes idle around here.

Riding to work this morning, watching out for deer...

I was out last Saturday for a day ride. High 40's (f) most the day. Didn't get home until 11 PM that night and it had dropped to the 30's.

Weather here in Omaha has been mild for this time of year. We have had ice storms and severe snow storms in the past years as early as October. As long as the streets stay dry and none of the chemical spray they are using on the streets I'm keeping bike ready to ride as long as possible.

It's looking like it's going to hit 55 today so I'm outta here.

I still try to find an excuse to ride almost every day, even if is just to the store (or to visit Mother). Did an 800 km run a week ago in cool weather to look at another VR. Here in Toronto, our weather is somewhat moderated by Lake Ontario, although we normally start to get some snow in November. I am lucky to have heated underground parking so unlike most others in this area, I don't have to winterize and store my bike for the winter. Instead, I look foreword to those unusually warm days (above freezing) throughout the winter and go for a run if the roads are dry. Except for last winter, I have been able to ride at least once each month of the winter.

There is something to be said for living south of the Mason/Dixon. There were only 2 unridable days last year

But-------how many good ice fishing days did you have????????

It's 41 now and sunny and I'm also taking a long lunch and going for a ride.

Went to Fred Meyer (part of the Kroger empire) and bought a pair of snow pants. I will ride anytime there is no white stuff on the ground. Today it should be 45F for a high and 32F when I get off work. Any calls from the PGR and I'll ride as well. We may have a mission(s) coming up in Tacoma for the 4 police officers who were murdered this week. Unless its heavy rain/snow...I'll ride.

I should still be riding, but I need to do some work to the old VR over the winter. So I put her down in the garage on Thanksgiving and started pulling the tupperware off.

If u all can ride as much as all that, I might hafta move south for the winters. Dont know about riding in some of the heat you ride in, but it sure would be nice not havin to winterize. :cool10:
