RedRider Posted September 30, 2007 #1 Posted September 30, 2007 My son completed the MSF course today and I picked up an '82 Yamaha Virago 750 to pound around on. I am really looking forward to him riding along with me on a nice fall day. He is 18 and very resposible - and he drives like an old man. The Virago is a nice bike. I will likely sell it in the spring once I get the Kawa Vulcan running. It fits a tall rider better (6'4"). RR
Dano Posted September 30, 2007 #3 Posted September 30, 2007 Congrats to the new rider and the proud papa! My son turns 15 on the 9th, been riding dirt bikes since he was 7, he can't wait to get out on the asphalt ribbon. He's still got a couple of years to go, though. Dan
Guest PomeradoEagle Posted September 30, 2007 #4 Posted September 30, 2007 '82 Virago is a fine bike. I loved mine. My son turns 15 next week and is chomping at the streetbike bit. See Ya Down The Road.
