jinx56 Posted November 27, 2009 #1 Posted November 27, 2009 My 01 RSV volume control on the rear speakers do not work. Any ideas as to what the problem may be. Thanks Jinx56:doh:
SilvrT Posted November 28, 2009 #2 Posted November 28, 2009 do you have a headset plugged in? I think that volume control only works when the headset is connected.
Guest tx2sturgis Posted November 28, 2009 #3 Posted November 28, 2009 Are you talking about the F/R fader on the control head stopped working? Or the little knob on the rear speaker nacelle has stopped working on the passengers headset? Have they been working and just quit? Or never worked? More info!
jinx56 Posted November 29, 2009 Author #4 Posted November 29, 2009 it is the little knob on the speaker. it has never worked but it may be because there was no headset plugged in. So ergo can I assume that there no individual control for audio for the rear rider on the exterior speakers? Jinx56
Al Bates Posted November 29, 2009 #6 Posted November 29, 2009 you can control the rear exterior speakers from up front on your audio controler. That knob in the back is for interior use only, for the back seater volumn control
jinx56 Posted November 29, 2009 Author #7 Posted November 29, 2009 thanks guys I purchased this great ride in August after riding a 84 Honda Goldwing since I bought it new in 84. It has proven to be a hell of a good investment and no regrets. As you can imagine everything is different and all to the good. Although my wing treated my really well throughout the years and many tours; this bike is fantastic. Unfortunately, it is now winterized and put away for the season and I am sure itchin for spring. Take care all & tx again. One more item that I now know about. Jinx56:lightbulb:
