cb1313 Posted November 23, 2009 #1 Posted November 23, 2009 I am starting my projects today....lowering the rear, lowering the front, installing a HID Exnon headlight, removing the tape player for a storage box ( maybe the gauge set). raising the handlebars, having the seat reworked by Rick Bulter, installing a fake blinking alarm light when the bike is turned off, installing the front air shock 2 to 1 air value, filling tires with Ride-On......... Oil and tires are good.... is there something else I should do while on jacks. 2005, 8000miles . Already has passing light, XM radio, extra brake light, larger horns. Cb

When you have the rear wheel off, lube them inner splines and pins and pull the driveshaft and lube those splines (front and rear).
LilBeaver Posted November 23, 2009 #3 Posted November 23, 2009 Also, some folks have lubed the bushings, joints, etc. on the rear shock... that may be something to take a peek at as well Don't forget to take a real good look at those brake pads too
