Tina and I are headed to springville on saturday to look at a motorhome and we were wondering if anyone in the area could recommend a good restaurant where maybe we could have a small meet and eat.

I know that there are people in the area that LOVE to eat. (especially ice cream)

any takers ?

I know I said the magic words so no stampedes please.

What Saturday and where do you want to stop for ice cream? ...thats bongobob's neck of the woods ..he's the one to ask.........did u check out Hamburg rv? thats the one I was telling you about.....not far from there.....yes, were in......"Ask and they will come"

Sorry, but we wil be in Waterloo, Ont that day!

 

At present, there is no REALLY good place to eat in Springville, but some fairly good places depending on what you want. There is a good Mexican place on the corner of 39 and old 219, and Julie's, on Main for pizza and Italian as well as a couple of places near there.

 

Unfortunately there were a couple of good places that went under in the last year or so. The Hearth in Chaffee is about the best food but it's 12 miles away closer to our place, across the street from Pioneer Motorsports...

Hey big Tom.

The Hearth sounds good to us if you want to meet us there around 11.

We did check out Hamburg rv but they didnt have what we were looking for.

We are looking at a motorhome at a place called southern truck and rv so after we check it out we can meet you there.

They do have ice cream right?

Is the Pope Catholic????...I will get the word out to the rest of the gang.........pp&j ....can you hear this.....?? THE HEARTH AT ELEVEN ..THIS COMMING SATURDAY...(I cleverly edited the time on this post so if pp&j doesn't reread it, I can tell him we said eleven and not twelve....my bad)

Actually, 11' ish at the Hearth is doable for us!! We were planning on heading up after guess we can have lunch there!

 

1 Mushroom Swiss burger please...

Thanks for the heads up Tom but this weekend I'm actually working . Its the first time in three weeks and I was requested for the job by the customer and that means a 10% increase in my pay. I can't turn it down especially with Christmas coming up. man this is frustrating. Too much to do a wealth of friends and family and things to do. Keep me in the loop Tom. Maybe I'll just have to have you guys come out here and spend the night.

now that I'm totally confused about the time, 11am,12pm,1pm, I will try to move my tower job to Thursday or Friday instead of Saturday, that way i can take the bike out for a short 6hr ride one way to fill my belly with good food and see old friends. I cant make any promises that I will be there but will try. I'll know by Thursday and will let you all know.

we will be at the hearth at 11 am on saturday the 28th of november 2009.

if you are not there then we get all the ice cream.

After pulling string's and moving my tower job to today it :snow2: s-word last night which now puts me out of riding this weekend. I don't know how much :snow: white stuff they got up there but I will not be able to make it up there to see you all.

A big thanks to all who came today.

It was another fine meal at the hearth with even better company.

Sorry we had to leave so soon. We made it in time for the surprise so it was worth the hustle.

It was good to see you all again.
