BigBoyinMS Posted November 21, 2009 #1 Posted November 21, 2009 I just stumbled on this website and knowing that we are an "older" group of riders I thought it may be of some interest to some of the members that may be starting to have an issue pulling or holding the clutch lever. http://www.efmautoclutch.com/ It isn't inexpensive but they build two clutches; one that has NO pull pressure on the lever and one that you don't use the lever at all. And they hold much better than stock. They have a few videos on the site showing how well it works. Just thought it may help keep someone riding a few years longer!
pegscraper Posted November 21, 2009 #2 Posted November 21, 2009 I just stumbled on this website... You just found us, eh? Welcome aboard, the both of you.
straycatt Posted November 21, 2009 #3 Posted November 21, 2009 I wonder if that would get rid of my clutch basket whine/chirp.
Aussie Annie Posted November 24, 2009 #4 Posted November 24, 2009 Where's that dang lotto win??:mo money:
craigatcsi Posted November 24, 2009 #5 Posted November 24, 2009 Wow! I think I am liking that! I don't NEED one, but I just may want one. That would be GREAT in rush hour traffic. My left arm got pretty sore in rush hour traffic in D.C., L.A. & Vegas - In Vegas rush hour, the clutch handle was too hot to touch for long.. That would have been SWEET to have! craigr
Bobcatpat Posted March 8, 2011 #6 Posted March 8, 2011 I'm considering the EFM auto clutch. Anyone have any experience with one?
Reddog170 Posted March 9, 2011 #7 Posted March 9, 2011 Older riders huh.. I am 35, guess I got some growin' to do yet. But my seventeen year old has been eying my Venture. I do like the clutch idea though. On my other bike it has a cable pull clutch that after a bit of running around town it is a little stiff. Do not think they make one of those gadgets for it though.
