LilBeaver Posted November 14, 2009 Share #26 Posted November 14, 2009 (edited) To answer your question though: I picked up my 2nd gen ~32ish weeks ago (mid April). I have been out of town about 15 of them and I still have managed to have put around 10k miles on my venture so far. I usually take a couple hundred mile ride once every weekend that I am home, and I had a long trip over the summer. GlennTuc Posted November 14, 2009 Share #27 Posted November 14, 2009 So far around 10,000 miles. Mostly back and forth to work. 60 miles round trip. I'll ride year round as long as there's no ice on the road. Which is rare around here. Glenn

Usually ride 15 to 17,000 annually. Put 70,000 on my '03 Road Star in 4 years. Love to ride.

Dave77459 Posted November 16, 2009 Share #34 Posted November 16, 2009 I bought Roxie at the end of July 08, when she had 2002 miles on her. 2000 miles in two years? On my ride back from the Texas meet up in Big Bend, we shared our 30,000 mile anniversary. I got to thinking this morning about where I've been with her. Here's our over-night trips in 2009: We went to Canyon Lake for Valentine's Day. We went on a Texas cafe tour to Austin and around We went to the Grand Canyon We went to Dallas for some carb work We went on an Iron Butt ride to Denver We took a trip to Arkansas We went to Big Bend National Park Dave

loehring Posted November 16, 2009 Share #36 Posted November 16, 2009 I guess I average 30k per year. But I do live in the south. Today was 73 and not a cloud in the sky. How could you NOT put that much on your bike?
